Q: What do I need to do before you arrive?

A: We usually recommend that all small, easily movable items be cleared away from the carpets. For example, any plants, lamps, end tables, knick-knacks, or breakables off any furniture you want us to move. We usually clean all the traffic areas( open areas) in the bedrooms, but we’d be happy to move any items ( within reason) in the Living room, Dining room, or family room. It would also be greatly appreciated and helpful to vacuum all areas thoroughly before our arrival!

Q: How often should I have my carpet cleaned?

A: On average, carpets should be cleaned at least once a year in a household. In some cases (pets, children, allergies), they may require more frequent cleanings.

Q: How often should I have my upholstery cleaned?

A: Upholstery should be cleaned once every 18 – 24 months as part of regular maintenance. Upholstery that shows visible dirt or soiling should be cleaned to prevent dirt from building up and causing staining.

Q: How can I keep my carpet looking nice?

A: Regular vacuuming (at least once a week) will help your carpet keep its like-new look. We also recommend having your carpet professionally cleaned at least once a year.
